john-terry1.jpgThere’s tough and then there’s John Terry. Despite breaking his toe during Chelsea’s pre-season jolly against the Suwon Bluewings, he played on and still expects to be fit for this weekend’s game against Beckham’s LA Galaxy.
Meanwhile, poor David still might not make the game because of a slight strain…diddums. Terry is obviously made from sterner stuff but we remember him coming back too soon after literally having his head kicked in by Abou Diaby last season, which put him out again and could have cost Chelsea the title.
Hard as nails or just trying too hard?

No sense no feeling. He does sound a bit “Fick”

its mildly refreshing to find a player who’s trying to MUCH rather than too LITTLE. Football needs all the John Terrys it can get…just keep him away from those sarongs I’m sensing a slight slip into David Beckhamland by JT and Lamps. They need to get out of LA with the last small shred of masculinity intact.

Having just screwed stupid money out of abromovich, probably feels too guilty to take a couple of days off over a mere trifle like a broken toe

There’s no need to psychoanalyze JT! The man is tough as nails, end of story. That’s why he’s captain of Chelsea AND England!!!
