57579372.jpgEddie Murphy impersonator, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, has teamed up with Robbie Fowler at Cardiff City in what would have once been a dream partnership in the Premier League.
The 35-year-old with the crazy eyes has been without a club since being released by Charlton at the end of the season.
‘I do not think anyone would have believed going into the close season it would be possible to get players like them,’ said chairman Peter Ridsdale on the club’s website.
Between them they have scored 289 Premier League goals but do they have enough left in their ageing lockers to bring success to Cardiff?

JFH is a bit of a mercenary, and he’s definitely a spent force – that said, he’ll be playing against lower quality defences, so he could have a field day.

    For peters sake,
Stop moaning and look forward to watching some geniuses at work, be they old or not. Who would have thought that the bluebirds would have bee fielding players such as this???!
Together with such a talented and eager squad who last season when on fire were unbeatable.
It will breed confidence, a kick up the arse, priceless expertise and will fill the house.

Bet the wage bill has gone up a fair bit

  4. Rich says:

he wanted £40k a week from Leicester so i’m guessing he’s on similar at Cardiff.
What with all the trouble Ridsdale constantly finds (lands?) himself in, they’ll be lucky to even have a goldfish left at the end of the season.

Perhaps his ingenious tactic of whacking the ball at goal as hard as he can from wherever he happens to be standing when he receives it may work better in the lower division. More than likely he will start whining or get injured before long and wander off AWOL.

Definatly a hit, with him a fowler we could be looking at promotion.
