Javier Saviola, Big Sam’s latest signing for Bolton?
Argentina star Javier Saviola could be on his way to the Reebok, if his agent is to be believed. Bolton have joined the race to sign the Argentine forward, who is apparently no longer wanted by Barcelona (he spent last season on loan to Sevilla). Arsenal and Panathinaikos are also sniffing around Saviola like a wedged-up dog on heat.
One problem though – I’m not sure he’s suited to the Premiership. He’s only a little fella and I could see him getting knocked from pillar to post, much like Reyes does for Arsenal. Trotters, would you be happy to give stray Saviola a good home?
