Confused Giroud & Coquelin Give Shirts To Fans At 4-4, Forced To Politely Ask For Them Back! (Video)
By Chris Wright
Misguidedly thinking Arsenal had won on away goals with the score level at 4-4 when the whistle thweeped after 90 minutes of last night’s momentous League Cup slobberknocker against Reading, Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin chucked their shirts into the crowd – only… they kind of hadn’t actually won on away goals at all (skip to 0:20)…
It’s more likely that the French pair assumed the tie was going to go to a replay, but the Sky Sports anchor’s presumption that they thought they’d won a one-legged tie on aggregate is far more amusing.

lol.
