Arsene Wenger has criticised Jack Wilshere in his pre-West Brom press conference after a photograph circulated yesterday which shows the Arsenal midfielder honking on a ciggie outside a London club in the wee small hours of Thursday morning.

When asked about the photo and the ramifications thereof, Wenger replied: “Well, I disagree completely with that behaviour. The fact that you can damage your health at home, nobody sees it. You damage your reputation as an example as well.

Asked if he would be reprimanding Wilshere over the incident, Wenger added: “I will leave that between him and me.”

Well, if it’s any consolation Arsene, we all know Mesut Ozil likes the odd crafty fag-on-a-yacht and it hasn’t done him any harm – except, y’know, corrode his already asthmatic lungs…

Carlo Ancelotti (during his time as Milan coach) smoked a cig in the dug-out during a Champions League match in which AC Milan lost 0-3 at home.
That season they won the Champions League.

@fkgf: do you even know what the word “relevant” means you clown? He’s a manager who is also a former player…it’s not too much of a jump to assume that if he’s smoking as a manager that he also could also have smoked as a player! This is how it’s f*cking relevant. Think about this the next time you call someone an idiot for posting something you are too stupid to understand!
