Arsenal 2-0 Crystal Palace – Premier League – 2nd February 2014
Making his first Premier League start since the opening day defeat to Aston Villa, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain bagged two goals against Crystal Palace to send the Gunner back to the top of the table. Oxlade-Chamberlain, playing in central midfield, netted both his goals in the second-half after the Eagles had frustrated their hosts for long periods of the game. However, the goals did eventually come for Arsene Wenger’s men, with Oxlade-Chamberlain topping off a fine all-round display wit two well-taken goals.
