Arsenal came from a goal down to secure a vital 3-1 win at the Emirates on Tuesday night, as result which sees them go (at least temporarily) back into the top four.

Matt Jarvis had opened the scoring for the Hammers after the magnificently hirsute Antonio Nocerino burst into the Gunners’ box. However, the oft-criticised Lukas Podolski levelled the scores just before the break after a fine through ball from Santi Cazorla.

After the break, Cazorla starting to pull the strings for the Gunners but it was Olivier Giroud who would get his side’s second goal, superbly controlling the ball (played perfectly by Thomas Vermaelen) in the West Ham box before firing through Adrian’s legs. The third eventually came courtesy of a Podoslki thunderbolt after a deft headed pass from Aaron Ramsey as the Gunners kept themselves well in the hunt for fourth spot.
