With a Champions League ding-dong against Galatasaray on the cards for tonight, it’s 18 years to the very day that Arsene Wenger took the job at Arsenal and proceeded to almost single-handedly change the way things were done in English football.
Turns out lager, curry, compulsive gambling and the odd line of cocaine aren’t quite as conducive to elite sporting performance as first thought.
Anyway, what better way to celebrate Wenger’s porcelain anniversary at the Gunners than with a handy compilation video of his best bits – featuring some ace Pardew-shoving, silky footwork and the Frenchman telling King Kenny to sling his hook…
