Arsenal 3-0 Burnley – Premier League – 1st November 2014
In-form attacker Alexis Sanchez was once again Arsenal’s man of the match after a superb two-goal display at the Emirates.
Burnley worked hard to keep the Gunners out until the 70th minute when Sanchez, who had been excellent throughout, rose to head home a Calum Chambers centre. That goal saw the floodgates open for the hosts, with Chambers himself and then Sanchez again, sealing the points for the north Londoners.
As well as the win, the sight of Theo Walcott back in action (courtesy of a cameo appearance) will have delighted Arsene Wenger. As for Burnley’s Sean Dyche, he can be proud of a decent display from his struggling side.
