Looking like a French fifth Beatle, Sky Sports presenter and all-round superstar Thierry Henry paid a visit to Pen-y-Dre High School in Merthyr, Wales, on Tuesday to surprise one of the school kids.

The former Arsenal striker, in silly hair and glasses, was there to present a shocked Emma Morgan with the ‘Sky Sports Living for Sport Student of the Year Award’ for Wales. Morgan won the prize after becoming the school’s youngest student to represent Wales at the annual European ‘Superschools’ competition in Sweden, where she picked up a silver in Swimming.

Henry looked as comfortable in front of the students as he did in front of 38,000 at Highbury and one wonders if an Eric Cantona-esque acting career is in his plans.
