Why look everybody, it’s Tony Adams – and he’s doing a traditional Azerbaijani dance at an Azerbaijani wedding to the unmistakeable sounds of traditional Azerbaijani Azeri music.
Without the benefit of a couple of drinks to help grease the wheels, Adams still has a fair old bash at mixing it on the dancefloor – with mixed results…
Well, it certainly beats the traditional wedding dance of the 48-year-old British male: Tie tied around head, shirt untucked and unbuttoned and the trusty old air guitar being windmilled to the sound of Summer of ’69.
Just for the record, Adams has ties to Azerbaijan having taken over top flight side Gabana in 2010 with plans to oversee the club’s development from the ground up.
He resigned his post after just one year in charge but later took up a position as Gabana’s sporting director.
