Sunderland secured their Premier League status for another season after battling to a 0-0 draw at the Emirates. A rather leggy Arsenal dominated the game, firing in a total of 28 shots, however the Black Cats stood firm to earn that all-important point which keeps them in the top-tier for another season.

The result now leaves Sunderland’s rivals Newcastle and Hull to fight it out in order to avoid the drop.

As for the Gunners, their share of the spoils all but seals third place for the north Londoners, who still have the FA Cup final to look forward to.

Anyway, well done Dick Advocaat and co.!
