Champions League: Luis Suarez Nets Stunning Volley As Barcelona Beat Arsenal 3-1 At Nou Camp (Video)

Once again, Arsenal’s participation in the Champions League has ended in the Last 16, with the Gunners going down 3-1 to Barcelona on Wednesday night to lose the tie 5-1 overall. While Arsenal created enough chances to win the game, their lack of a world class striker once again hampered their performance. Barca, on the other hand, were as clinical as ever, with Luis Suarez netting a magnificent volley.

The goal from Suarez came with the scores at 1-1, following goals from Neymar and then (with his first Arsenal goal) Mohamed Elneny. While it may have come off the Uruguayan’s shin, the finish, while off balance, was outstanding…

Fair play to the Gunners for taking the fight to Barcelona. However, once again a lack of a clinical cutting edge up front coupled with a leaky defence, means that Arsene Wenger’s side will surely now end the season trophyless.
