In classic Arsenal style, the north Londoners found their best form on Thursday night against West Brom when their title hopes are dead and buried.
At a far-from-full Emirates, Alexis Sanchez was the star of the show, netting a fine first-half brace to bolster the Gunners’ top four place.
The Chilean winger opened the scoring on six minutes, courtesy of a superb solo effort…

After the break, the Baggies couldn’t get themselves back into the game, with the game ending 2-0.
Arsenal go third, two points above Manchester City and five points behind Tottenham. Tony Pulis’ side find themselves in 15th place, a healthy 10 points clear of the drop-zone.
While a planned anti-Wenger walkout didn’t seem to materialise, once again the Arsenal fans are still left to ponder yet another season of missed opportunities and repeated mistakes.
