We’ve seen plenty of embarrassing videos of players’ making a right dog’s dinner of their customary initiation song at a new club, and Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka’s star-turn is no exception.
During the club’s pre-season tour of the USA, the Swiss hardman produced a typically excruciating rendition of a song we cannot, for the life of us, recognise. Thankfully, reserve goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez recorded the magnificent moment on his phone for all to see…

At least Joel Campbell seemed to like it!
While his singing is certainly not top-class, the 23-year-old Xhaka’s performances for Switzerland during EURO 2016 (excluding his dismal penalty miss) will no doubt have impressed Arsenal fans.
The £30million fee the Gunners paid Borussia Monchengladbach for the midfielder may well be quite a significant sum, but the (tuneless) anchorman could prove to be one of the signings of the season.
