Alexis Sanchez produced a magnificent individual display at the London Stadium on Saturday, with the Chilean bagging a super hat-trick as Arsenal hammered West Ham 5-1.

Despite dominating he first-half, Arsenal went in at the break only 1-0 up, with Mesut Ozil netting after being set up by Sanchez following sloppy play from the Hammers.

After the break, West Ham started to look brighter but couldn’t contain Arsenal’s effervescent Chilean. However, it took until the 72nd minute for the Gunners to extend their lead, with Sanchez scoring a crack after deftly turning away from Arthur Masuaku.

Eight minutes later it was 3-1 to Arsene Wenger’s side, with Sanchez clinically finding the corner of Darren Randolph’s net.

West Ham got one back soon after, with sub Andy Carroll scoring from close-ranger after a Dimitri Payet free-kick came back off the post.

However, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain then fired home a superb curling effort.

Sanchez then produced another moment of magic after being put through by Oxlade-Chamberlain. The former Barcelona man (albeit from a slightly offside position), dummied Randolph before dinking the ball over the Irish ‘keeper and nabbing his hat-trick.

After the game, the affable Arsenal star even had time to take a selfie with the ballboys after giving one of the young chaps his shirt.

Lovely stuff from a stunning player.
