A few days ago, Borussia Dortmund confirmed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would take no part in Friday night’s trip to Hertha Berlin after a ‘lack of focus’ saw the striker removed from the first-team squad.
Aubameyang is currently in negotiations over a move to Arsenal and, as such, Dortmund thought it best he remain at home and train with the reserves to prevent any further disruption.
Dortmund went on to squeeze out a 1-1 draw at the Olympiastadion while Aubameyang took it upon himself to toddle along to his local soccer centre for a casual game of 5-a-side with a few of his pals…
