Hector Bellerin took time out of his busy schedule to make a personal house call to a young Gooner who just so happens to be the Spanish full-back’s biggest littlest fan.

While flicking through a batch of photos taken during Arsenal’s trip to Crystal Palace in December, Bellerin noticed an image of a banner being held aloft with his name on it.

The 22-year-old then put out a plea on social media for people to help him track down the fan responsible, which eventually led to him turning up a Claudia’s door with a very special memento to hand over…

D’awww.

How thoroughly, thoroughly nice.

Great video – a nice touch from Hector Bellerin. I’m surprised by his accent – doesn’t sound Spanish at all?

I know the Hubbard-Smythe family rather well and they’re all positively thrilled with Hector – what a delightful chap! He oozes excellence and is top drawer in all departments. We are thoroughly and undoubtedly blessed to breathe the same air as this vivacious and exotically cumbersome Catalan adonis.
