Arsenal will fancy their chances of winning the Champions League now. It was an incredible victory for them.
Cesc Fabregas is just amazing. This might not be a particularly revolutionary conclusion but he put in an awesome performance last night.
Don’t trust a goalkeeper who has been rejected by Leicester City to keep your side in the Champions League. Zeljko Kalac should have done better with Fabregas’ opener.

It would have been impressive enough to have beaten the European champions 0-2 on a football pitch, never mind on the San Siro Slippery Fun Ice Rink.
Andrea Pirlo looked like he was wasted. He spent the evening wandering gormlessly round the pitch with his mouth open pausing only to play wayward passes.
Alexandre Pato has a little way to go to get his hair to AC Milan’s regulation floppy length.
And why was Clive Tyldesley referring to the Brazilian as ‘Little Pato’ all evening? At 5ft 11in he is hardly short, and there were no references to Dwarf Walcott when the 5ft 8in Arsenal man came on!
While I wanted Arsenal to win, watching 39-year-old Paolo Maldini nutmegging annoying Emmanuel Eboue was a joy to behold.
Matthieu Flamini has officially completed his transformation from bit part left-back to midfield general. Along with Fabregas and Alex Hleb he won the tie for Arsenal.
Arsenal only got what they deserved. They totally outclassed Milan and could have been two-up at half-time. The Gunners left it late but it was absolutely the right result.
