Football Vine: Ramires Launches Two-Footed Horror Lunge At Karim El Ahmadi As Blues’ Title Tilt Falters

By Alan Duffy

Quite the shocking challenge here from Chelsea’s Ramires, not a player known for his horror tackles. However, late on against Villa, the Brazilian midfielder was right sent off for this lunge directed at Karim El Ahmadi. Chelsea also saw Willian sent off for two bookings while Jose Mourinho was also sent to the stands as Aston Villa pulled off a shock win (thanks to a Fabien Delph goal). Is this the start of a collapse by the west Londoners?

Mourinho needs something shoved in his gob for good measure ! He is a sore loser. My opinion about him will not change irrespective of the club he plays for

In the space of 90 minutes its gone from mourihno being an idiot for saying Man City are favourites, to the start of a title collapse. Surely people realise how ridiculous this is!!

William didn’t mame anyone with that challenge BUT did he intentionlly impede the opponent. YES. Was he going for the ball. NO.

No brainer…its a yellow. You have to make some attempt to play the ball.
