Aston Villa did not win the FA Cup. In fact, they didn’t even come within a sniff of winning the FA Cup. They were, if memory serves, pummelled into submission by an Arsenal team that cantered to a 4-0 victory in the final at Wembley.
While as the result hardly came as a sweet elixir to most Villa fans, it was a particularly hard pill to swallow for the (possibly certifiably insane) individual who happened to bump into journalist David Blackmore on the train before the game…
Just met an Aston Villa fan on the Tube. He was told by a psychic to put his home and life savings on his team winning. He has. Unbelievable

Just to refresh your memory, Aston Villa lost 4-0.
Seems Saturday was a good day for making terrible decisions…
Yeah. That was definitely a good idea… pic.twitter.com/ciCh9praEQ
