Sylvan Ebanks-Blake’s 83rd-minute penalty earned Wolves a point against local rivals Aston Villa at Molineux, in a game largely devoid of quality.

Gabriel Agbonlahor put the visitors ahead in the 79th minute, slotting Emile Heskey’s pass beyond Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey.

But when Steve Sidwell fouled Michael Kightly in the penalty area, Wolves took the chance to secure their second consecutive 1-1 draw.
