King Kenny’s return and Torres exit inspires tweeters

Today’s hero is a man who is not only a classy keeper, he dedicates four nights a week to coaching young keepers too. Neil Gillespie is a goalkeeper and manager at Manchester Gregorian’s FC.

Today’s hero plays in an Under 8s league and has been winning rave notices and the odd man of the match award, for his fearlessness, bravery and commitment to getting the ball before the opposition strikers. His name is Matthew and he plays for Farsley Celtic.

Today’s hero is a man with two passions in life – football and Pork Pies. Cedric plies his trade for Swindon Leopards – a team for adults with learning disabilities in the South West Ability Counts League – and is affectionately known as ‘Pork Pie’ to his team mates.

Today’s hero is Tom, who is the Under-8’s keeper for Elsenham Youth FC in Essex. Tom is a fantastic keeper, who has so far only let six goals past him since the start of this season. Good work young fella!
