Referee Ana Paula Oliveira was banned from officiating for 245 days last year after she posed naked for the Brazilian edition of Playboy magazine. The Brazilian FA removed her name from a list of referees available for international competitions.
However, Oliveira is, we’re happy to report, now back in action, this time with her clothes on. She officiated in the 1-1 draw between São José and Taquaritinga earlier this month, and was said to be ‘very happy’ to be doing her day job again.
