First of all, Hope Solo has a seriously bad attitude. When she celebrates it’s clearly a “Look how great & awesome I am!” Not a team player at all, which is also displayed by her past.
Secondly, I’m thrilled she blew that easy save during the shootout & that the U.S. lost.
Thirdly, she’s got a bit too much testosterone for my liking, looks too much like a dude. She’s kind of attractive, in a TV sort of way, which is cool, if you like that sort of thing…
And I’m an American but am thrilled all the A’Murkans who watch one soccer match every two years can’t celebrate a WC win. And anyway, the U.S. women’s team plays a game of kickball. It’s horrible to watch. No ball possession, seemingly no tactics. Truly un-beautiful soccer.

@Ron- I don’t know what you call soccer but the women have been playing a possession game for years. Perhaps you should refresh your understanding of soccer tactics before trying to call out the US women’s team. I do agree with you about Solo – on the first of your three reasons- she’s no good for the team or the women’s game.
Well, I agree with Ron on the bad attitude. She was kicked off the American Women’s team because of her attitude and her mouth. I don’t watch soccer and know anything about it but I am not sure I want someone like her representing us at the Olympics. The worst thing about it is a used to like Maks but now I just think he is a complainer. SHE WAS NOT A GOOD DANCER!!!!!!! I don’t understand how Maks didn’t understand that. I hope he is not allowed back to the show. Or should I say that he shouldn’t be allowed back on “His Show.” She is lucky she made it as far as she did. It was not on talent!!!!
