  1. Dickie says:

    Pink ball? Really?

  2. gamblino says:

How do they concentrate with all those lines?!

  3. Monza says:

That pitch is definitely not suitable for football. The ball bounces awkwardly.

  4. Chris says:

@Gamblino: I know, it would drive me completely insane! Even the basketball court over my local 5-a-side pitch sends me cross-eyed.

  5. Yankee says:

Harvard american football field, field turf marked for american football, lacrosse and soccer. Pink shirts and pink ball. How could the ref give accurate decisions around the penalty box ? Just goes to prove womens pro league soccer in the US is not taken seriously. Alex Morgan should sign up with a model agency, better conditions, better pay and we’d all take her more seriously !

  6. Marquette Jer says:

Goal celebrations in Women’s football could be so much hotter, although #19 gives Alex a a little slap on the tush……

  7. Montesquieu says:

The field markings are actually easy to figure out if you’ve ever played on a field such as that. As for the pink kits, I dig’em. Palermo has pink kits as well doesn’t mean that the team isn’t serious.

  8. big mean bunny says:

looks like a goal one of you mates who is crap at football would score and would then claim he meant to do it whilst everyone else would laugh at him and call him a jammy twat!

  9. skaryguy says:

Whatever about the pitch or the ball or the colour of their f**kin kits, that was a cracking goal. Great invention and nice technique.

  10. Murray says:

Of all six (yes, six) WPS teams, none of them have pink home or away kits.

If I had to guess, both the pink ball and uniforms are for a breast cancer awareness cause.

  11. seagulls says:

haha big mean bunny so true

  12. ALS says:

Pink kit and ball are both part of Puma’s Project Pink initiative to raise money for breast cancer awareness/research.

  13. TheBro says:

I can’t stop looking at that ass

  14. J. says:

The kits and ball are for breast cancer awareness. It’s part of a WPS campaign. Just, FYI.
