After taking on the likes of Lincoln City, Mansfield Town and Birmingham City last summer, Leicester City have found themselves mixing in altogether loftier circles this time round, with participation in the International Champions Cup affording the Foxes big pre-season ties against Celtic, PSG and Barcelona.

Wednesday night saw Leicester take on Barca in the last of their ICC encounters and it panned out exactly as expected as the La Liga goliaths sauntered to a 4-2 victory in Stockholm.

However, the Premier League champs did leave with several positives to cling to, chiefly the explosive pace and overall performance of the club’s new record signing Ahmed Musa, who scored both of Leicester’s goals on the night.

Indeed, Musa came steaming out of the blocks to score his first goal in Leicester colours, roasting the Barcelona back line to pull one back just minutes after coming on at half-time…

Blinding pace and a neat finish. Looks like Claudio Ranieri’s game plan isn’t going to be altered one iota this season.

Here’s the full highlights…
