“It’s okay Zlatan, they won’t sell you to Man City now.”

“Thank Christ… now kiss me, you fool.”

FC Barcelona have taken out a €150million loan to ease their financial troubles.

The loan, signed and sealed today, will be lent jointly by several Spanish banks, including La Caixa and Banco Santander.

“The operation forms part of a new strategic plan devised by the new board, presided over by Sandro Rosell,” Barca announced on their official website.

New club president Rosell revealed last week that Barca had been unable to pay player wages owed at the end of June and said the sale of defender Dmitro Chygrynskiy was necessary to bring in funds.

Rosell claimed his club still had a tidy €50m available for transfers, which he said would rise to €89m after the sale of Chygrynskiy and also Yaya Toure to Man City.

That was a good bit of business with Dmitro Chygrynskiy, pay €25m 11 months ago, play him 12 times then sell him for €15m.

Does Pep suck at buying? Chygrynsky is like the biggest joke ever, Ibra fizzed out, Maxwell offers nothing new, Caceres who?, and that Kerrison kid, why did buy him exactly? Alves and Keita convinced, but the flops far outweigh the successes. Villa’s a safe bet, that guy would bang’em in anywhere, anytime for anyone.
