Ooops. Steve Kean, a man who has been praised throughout the season for his grace under pressure and dignity in difficult circumstances is now in a bit of trouble after a video of him recorded last summer was released to the public. By who, we do not yet know.
In the video, Kean calls former Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce ‘a crook’ and discusses his (big) part in the discovery of Phil Jones amongst other things.
To be fair, the secret recording of a private conversation is pretty vile and I’m sure a whole load of managers take a similarly negative view of Allardyce. Indeed, Kean is simply chatting about football, which is not a crime, while he sure to go up in many people’s estimation for his honest views.
However, while Kean has never doubted (at least publicly) his position at Ewood Park, this new video could well spell the end of the Scot’s unhappy time in charge of Blackburn.
