The Epic Delusion Continues: Sam Allardyce Reckons He’d Win The League ‘Every Season’ With Real Madrid

By Chris Wright

No introduction I could possibly write could do these monumentally deluded quotes from Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce justice, so I’m just going to plough on in there and let you draw your own conclusions;

“I’m not suited to Bolton or Blackburn, I would be more suited to Inter Milan or Real Madrid. It wouldn’t be a problem to me to go and manage those clubs because I would win the double or the league every time.

Give me Manchester United or Chelsea and I would do the same, it wouldn’t be a problem. It’s not where I’m suited to, it’s just where I’ve been for most of the time. It’s not a problem to take me into the higher reaches of the Champions League or Premier League and would make my job a lot easier in winning it.”

Awesome…in the truest sense of the word…awesome, not in a good way…but awesome none-the-less.

Although who knows if these are actually Big Sam’s words? This has all the hallmarks of the nefarious Arsene Wenger‘s handiwork.

  1. Luke says:

‘Right Ozil, this half i want you to go in really hard on the defensive mid, let him know we mean business’

  2. PhilandoTorres says:

I can’t even find this funny – because I know he truly believes what he says. And that is terrifying.

  3. Miguel says:

Wow, i think there is a new “special one” in town

  4. Chris says:

Wow, this is the man that came in to Newcastle with Martins and Owen upfront, and we played long-ball, route 1 football for 3 months. He probably see’s himself working for blackburn as charity work with this ego.

  5. Trololololo says:

Please, please please give him the Real job! How funny would it be if he finishes 5th with 10 goals scored all season and is unceremnociously shipped back to the grim north, tail between legs…

  6. Yeah, he’d win the double- the double cheeseburger, that is!

  7. dave says:

Think hes been on the stella. Nob.

  8. sean cowell says:

think big daft sam is havin a mid-life crisis of epic proportions, what hes sayin isnt even funny coz he believes it, an this ead the ball wants to manage england!!!

  9. max says:

    maybe he means football manager…
    …provided he activated the cheats

  10. Jack says:

Why not? Big Sam could win BOTH EPL and Bundaslega with Real Madrid.. Why dont you guys give him a chance?? Maybe he could make Inter win La Liga as well??? Or win Series A with Barcelona? He’s the Bloke who can make these things happen!!

  11. Trololololo says:

He just kept on going today: “There were some major decisions that the referee didn’t get right today; Schwarzer handled the ball outside the area, Kelly’s nutted El-Hadji in the back of the head and Salcido pushed Mame Diouf in the back. In the second half we should have had two penalties.”

Not forgetting the decision where he allowed a Blackburn goal even though El Hadji Diouf was attempting to murder Mark Schwarzer before it went in…

  12. John says:

    Comedy gold!

  13. […] just want to use me for publicity. I prefer to be alone than with such brainless people.” Has Sam Allardyce really lost his mind. Did he really say this? (Who Ate All The Pies) Blackpool manager Sam Allardyce claims he is more suited for the big clubs. […]

  14. […] back to Liverpool, Woy back to Fulham, Sparky back to Blackburn, Big Sam to finally fulfil his destiny at Inter? Just a though. […]
