No goals, one red card, not a hell of a lot to talk about. Sunderland had the best chances and with Rovers a man down for more than 45 minutes after Chris Samba’s sending off in the first half, they should really have bagged all three points. But Darren Bent had a rare off day, and Paul Robinson made a couple of fine saves to salvage a point for Big Sam and co. So, no bonus for Brucey (sorry).
