A 120th-minute Gael Givet header saw Blackburn pip Newcastle at the death of the death to nab themselves a spot in the Carling Cup’s last eight at Ewood Park last night – though, if it’s any consolation (it’s not), the Toon did score the two best goals of the night in Danny Guthrie’s low, 25-yard zinger (2:18 mark) and Yohan Cabaye’s picture perfect free-kick (2:29)…
