Amid the hubbub of pulling off a remarkable last-day win over Nottingham Forest to secure their Championship survival, it would appear Bolton defender Mark Little got a little carried away with his post-match giveaways.
As the Trotters celebrated after the final whistle at the Macron, the 29-year-old gave his jacket to a fan as a souvenir only to later realise that he’d accidentally also handed over both his wallet and his wedding ring…
For the fan i gave my jacket to. Your welcome to it but i need my wallet and wedding ring 😅??? #findlittswallet

This led to a rather embarrassing plea to #FindLittsWallet on Twitter on Sunday, with fans duly spreading the search over social media and various Bolton fan forums.
Remarkably enough, the campaign paid dividends and Little was reunited with his wallet later that same afternoon…
Its just a great day!!! #littlesfoundhiswallet la la laaaa la!! pic.twitter.com/kPSeWdjlhZ

It also looks like good news on the wedding ring front to, with BBC Sport reporting that it has been tracked down via a Bolton fan page on Facebook.
Indeed, the ring was set to be delivered back to Little at some point on Monday, though the right-back is yet to confirm its safe return.
Till then, we live in hope.
