Bolton Wanderers Score Brilliant Team Goal vs Blackpool – It’s Just Like Watching Barcelona (Video)

By Ollie Irish

The Premier League goal of the weekend:

You have to say that is magnificent (© Barry Davies). You have to. I don’t care how many 25-yard screamers you throw at me, 9 times out of 10 I prefer a technical, ‘chessboard’ goal created by inventive, intricate passing – a la the endlessly referenced tiki-taka of Barcelona and Spain.

What credit Owen Coyle deserves for transforming the previously dour Wanderers (in the Prem era) into one of the top five most entertaining sides in the division. Well played, sir.
