Barcelona 1-1 Atletico Madrid – Champions League Quarter-Final 1st Leg – 1st April 2014
Barcelona were held to a draw at the Nou Camp/Camp Nou by Atletico Madrid, with the visitors producing a superb display against their La Liga rivals.
The visitors started better but were rocked an injury to star striker Diego Costa who was forced off on the half-hour mark. However, his replacement Diego would go on to produce a magnificent strike to give the Madrid side the lead just before the hour mark.
Barca did, however, fight back and were rewarded with a goal from Neymar but they couldn’t get that all-important winner as the visitors stood firm. All remains to play for in the return clash next week.
