Missing a number of their first team stars, including Robert Lewandowski, Borussia Dortmund struggled at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, with Real Madrid securing an impressive 3-0 victory.

Gareth Bale, Isco and Cristiano Ronaldo were the scorers on the night for the La Liga giants, although the visitors did have their share of chances too. However, they sorely missed the clinical finishing of Lewandowski while Madrid, on the other hand, were potent in front of goal.

While turning around a 3-0 first-leg scoreline isn’t beyond the realms of possibility, the likelihood is that Jurgen Klopp and co. won’t be gracing another Champions League final this season, as Real Madrid close in on the title themselves.
