Andres Iniesta Celebrates Fifth Anniversary Of Dramatic Chelsea Goal By Failing To Recreate It (Video)

By Chris Wright

Britain Soccer Champions League

On the fifth anniversary of the last-minute goal that took Barcelona into the 2009 Champions League Final, the Catalan club’s official Youtube channel decided to mark the occasion by having the scorer himself, Andres Iniesta, attempt to recreate that fateful shot at Stamford Bridge.

What followed was all fairly half-arsed, as Iniesta just about managed to take his hands out of his pockets long enough to lethargically waft his shot wide of the goal, before telling the Barca TV host that he failed to recreate the goal because hisĀ original shot was “unique”…

Well, that was….err…something.
