“A little help here? Wayne, I miss you…”

C-Ron plays with himself during last night’s Champions League tie at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid could only manage a 1-1 draw against Lyon, a result that saw the French side go through, 2-1 on aggregate. I wonder if C-Ron caught any of the highlights of Man Utd-Milan?

After all the millions spent by Madrid last summer, their early exit from the competition – and in the year when the final is held in Madrid – is nothing short of a disaster. Taxi to the job centre for Senor Pellegrini, methinks.

This result showed that money alone cannot buy success. Kaka and Ronaldo alone costed more than £140M and they still couldn’t beat Lyon team that is probably worth less than Ronaldo’s tranfer fee.

Football is a team sport and no matter how good a player is in scoring goalshe needs good team mates to defend.

@ Charles: haha im glad you see that after that game, but i hope everyone saw that a long time ago… chelsea still has no champions league, man city still has no trophy, and real madrid blows. the good stuff lies in youth talent, plain and simple.

I often read people say that real madrid is not CR9. Well, so now who is CR9 scored and nobody did scored. You CR9 haters , do me a favour and dont watch him play, and dont read about him anymore. All the guys that play for RM are getting paid the same. The fact that rm paid a lot of money for Cr9 , still doesnt mean that the other players dont have to take the blame.Cr9 is not Real madrid when he plays well of course, but when something goes wrong the attitued changes and all of a sudden Cr9 is real madrid. HYPOCRITS THE WHOLE LOT OF YOU
