While the Premier League licks its wounds after a dismal Champions League campaign, the eight sides still in the competition will have their eyes on a semi-final berth after today’s last eight draw.
Pick of the ties are surely the Madrid derby which is a re-run of last season’s final, while Lionel Messi and co. face Chelsea-slayers PSG for the second time this season. German giants Bayern Munich face Porto while runaway Serie A leaders Juventus face Monaco, who shocked Arsenal in the Last 16.
The first legs will be played on the 14th and 15th of April, with the return matches on April 21st and 22nd.
My hopes of a re-run of the 2004 final between Monaco and Porto remain well and truly alive too.
