The balls are out of the pots and the draw for the 2014/15 Champions League semi-finals look something like this…

The first legs are to be played on 5th/6th May with the second legs on the 12th/13th May the following week.

So, Barcelona vs Bayern Munich and Juventus vs Real Madrid. Yowsers. Them’s a pair of big’ns right there, with the very real possibility of an El Clasico final thrown into the mix for good measure.

Please God, don’t let that happen. You just know it’d devolve into a screaming, feigning, bickering, diving, underhanded bullshit fest within the first 20 minutes.

Who’s your money on Pies fans? We’re plumping for Bayern and Real in the final.

I hope Barca absolutely smash Bayern because an ‘el classico’ final would be brilliant, plus I’d like to see how Pep responds to having his hand-picked, world-class squad fail in the only real challenge they actually face each season. With the talent at his disposal he has one of the easiest jobs in world football. Failing to get to a final let alone win the CL for the 2nd time in a row might make it harder for his employers to help him continue to avoid coming to the Prem and deal with competition on a weekly basis.

Whoa! Barca vs Munich….although Pep and his german brudas have nothing to prove really. Neither do Barca.

I’m rooting for the underdogs here, as I think a Bayern v Juve final would be a lot better than El Classico. It was always going to be set up for an all-Spanish final – UEFA must think we’re all dumb by doing this.

Hoping for a Juve – Bayern Final, would be a more interesting match

Am I the only one thinking a Juve – Bayern final would be all but entertaining? It’d be Juventus 90 minutes defending and Bayern testing their defensive wall.
As much as I’d love to see Pirlo and Buffon winning the CL, I think it’s be better a Bayern – Real final: lot’s of pace for everyone!
