Juventus stunned the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, playing out a 1-1 draw to book their place in the Champions League final in Berlin courtesy of a 3-2 aggregate win.

Ronaldo opened the scoring on 23 minutes, firing home a penalty after James Rodriguez had been felled in the box.

The Colombian then went down in the box again, this time a little too easily with his dive (even though he was touched) earning the playmaker a booking.

While an El Clasico final with Barcelona looked on the cards, ex-Real striker Alvaro Morata stunned the home fans just before the hour-mark, firing home after the La Liga giants had failed to clear the ball.

While Los Merengues looked the more likely score, Juventus were still a threat and Claudio Marchisio had a great chance to put his side 2-1 up, only to see his effort saved by Iker Casillas.

Gareth Bale had a number of chances to redeem himself after a poor display in first leg, and really should have done better with a back-post header from a Ronaldo centre.

Paul Pogba could have put the visitors ahead in the game late on, only to fire his shot straight at Casillas.

With time running out, Casillas raced forwards to take a throw in to Marcelo, only to make an unholy mess of it.

Soon after, the ref blew up as the Italians celebrated their first Champions League final appearance 2003 when they lost on penalties to Milan at Old Trafford.

Do they have a short supply of hot water in the Madrid dressing room as Ronaldo broke the world sprint record getting off the field.

@Rob I think it was because the hairdresser’s was closing early tonight

As a United fan this sucks major (transfer) balls.

It’s a certainty that Madrid will pay whatever it takes to get de Gea, seeing as Casillas has clearly not recovered from the WC.

Van Gaal has a busy summer ahead. No de Gea: No defence

Once again UEFA has its “dream final” Real – Barça postponed.
They’ve been trying so hard for the past years. How many times have they both been to the Semis and not played against each other in the last few years?
