Leicester City have taken like a duck (or fox?) to water in the Champions League, with the Premier League champions making light work of the group stages in their maiden campaign.

On Tuesday, the Foxes secured a deserved 2-1 home win against Club Brugge to reach the heady heights of the knockout stages.

Leicester needed just a point from the game with Brugge to make it to the Group stages, but ultimately they would secure a victory which means they will finish sitting pretty atop Group C.

Shinji Okazaki opened the scoring early on, deftly finishing from a superb Christian Fuchs centre.

Riyad Mahrez then netted his fourth Champions League, via a penalty kick after Marc Albrighton was felled in the box.

The Belgians did get one back in the second-half, with Joze Izquierdo’s fine solo effort ending Leicester’s run of clean sheets in the competition.

However, Leicester held out to secure their place in the last 16 in their first season in the competition. The dreams continues for the Foxes!

Here’s how the group looks…
