Bohemians’ Paddy Madden has his eye on the ball during his side’s Champions League second qualifying round, first-leg match against Welsh Premier League outfit The New Saints at Dalymount Park, Dublin. Killian Brennan scored the only goal of the game, with a header in the 66th minute. The second leg is next Tuesday.

Bohemians v The New Saints! What at brilliant contest. It sounds more like some 19th-century gang fight than a football match.

Ah, it’s good to have real football back again.
