Fight! Furious Copenhagen Coach Confronts Pep Guardiola (Video)

By Ollie Irish

After Copenhagen’s creditable 1-1 draw against Barcelona last night, the two coaches went toe to toe. The root of the dispute between Guardiola and Stale Solbakken would seem to be Jose Pinto’s very sly whistle when Barcelona played Copenhagen in the Camp Nou.

But Solbakken later played down the handbags: “After we had shaken hands he (Guardiola) started to say something about UEFA and I think he meant the whistling incident, I said that he (Pinto) should have got five games – that was just a bad Norwegian joke

“Maybe he doesn’t understand Norwegian humour! … I really respect Guardiola, he’s one of the finest coaches but I think he was told something wrong.”

If Norwegian humour involves screaming “F*ck you!” into someone’s face, I guess I don’t get it either.
