Preston North End 0-2 Hull City – Darren Ferguson Under Pressure (Photos & Video)
By Ollie Irish
A valuable win for Hull (their first since September) lifts them out of the relegation zone, and leaves Preston mired in 23rd. Those North End fans who did turn up to support their team – the attendance was a meagre 9,088 – saw their side lose at home for the second match running, and it’s no surprise that many of them appear to have lost faith in manager Darren Ferguson. Objectively, I think Fergie Jnr is a good manager with even better contacts, and it will pay to stick with him this season.
