A bevy of superb goals from Leon Britton, Stephen Dobbie and Darren Pratley were enough to comprehensively write off Forest’s promotion chances for another year at the Liberty Stadium last night after a goalless first-leg.

Each crossbar was thwacked several times though, over the course of two legs, it’s hard to dispute that the better team eventually prevailed – best of luck in the final boyos.

Horrible welsh fucks, shouldnt be allowed in the English premier league.

Forest’s defenders were rubbish. If they gave a premier league striker an eighth of the time they gave Britton for the first goal they’d be conceding goals left right and centre. The way they conceded the second goal was just pathetic.

@kct: Yep, couldn’t agree more. I’ve said it time and time again, if Forest went up they would be systematically torn apart by even the most rudimentary of Premier League forward lines.

I’m going to remain positive with this one. We had two atrocious first halves against decent Champioship opposition, but the boys showed a bit of spirit and belief to get back in it. Scoring goals has been our problem all season, I mean you’re not going to go up if your top striker has less than 10 goals. Tudgay has weighed in with some important strikes over the final third of the season, but last night he was woeful. His legacy will be making look like Britton invented the Cruyff turn before his goal, and then blazing over a chance that I would have backed even Carlton Cole to put in.

Billy’s a good manager so I’m pleased to see that he’s staying, but I wish he wouldn;t be quite so abrsive with the board. I can’t say that I agree with the transfer acquisitions panel, but they have at least put up money for transfers and wages.

So what for the future? We need to sort out left back as a priority, and either buy in a striker (whilst selling the 100 or so left that we don’t want) or give a decent run to a couple of them. Too often they chop and change and never really get used to one another. If we can keep hold of McGugan and Camp that would be good, but I worry that there may be some bids over the summer. The core of that team isn’t bad, they just need some fine tuning.

Up the Swans! Screw you Balthezar you Xenophobic knob, there’s gonnabe a welsh team in the top division next season. Hope Cardiff win tonight against reading so the swans can take them apart too at wembley.

Leave the Achyfi in the coolers, lads. Swansea will be playing Reading at Wembley. But Swans fans can take heart…Despite all evidence to the contrary, the team Swansea will be playing at Wembley is actually a team from Reading, Pennsylvania, in the United States.
