#BUNCHOFTWATS – Ashley Cole Lashes Out At FA Over Claims He Tarted Up Terry Evidence

So, it would appear that Ashley Cole hasn’t taken the FA’s findings over his evidence in the John Terry case particularly gracefully…
Cole was referring to the FA’s verdict that he ‘modified’ some of the evidence he gave in Terry’s defence to fit the case presented by Chelsea (adding the word ‘black’ into a statement if we’re reading correctly) – the FA independent report suggesting that there were discrepancies in the evidence originally provided by Cole, compared to the statements he later provided in court.
*Sigh*
Obviously he was acting impulsively, but it’s difficult to fathom just what he thought such an inflammatory tweet would accomplish. Sadly, we think we may be looking for logic, however splintered, where there is none.
We don’t fancy his chances in front of an FA panel after this.

I say fair play to him, the FA put their opinion in to their report, that they made publicly available, and that included an inference that he was lying, he’s entitled to respond to that inference and chose to do so through twitter, could have been more eloquent about it but thats his choice, what are the FA going to do fine him 10,000? his original report had no reference to anything racial at all and only changed it when the club asked.
