Chelsea 1-2 FC Basel – Champions League – 18th September 2013

Britain Soccer Champions League

Jose Mourinho’s “good eggs” failed to deliver at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, going down 2-1 to FC Basel in a shock defeat in west London. The result comes exactly six years since Mourinho saw his Chelsea side draw 0-0 with Rosenborg on home soil, a result that saw the Portuguese coach part company with the Blues.

With Willian and Marco Van Ginkel both started for the home side but it was Brazilian Oscar who would open the scoring at the end of the first half. However, after the break, the Swiss side rallied and eventually went level courtesy of the superb  Mohamed Salah. Then, on 82 minutes, the experienced Marco Streller nodded home to give the visitors a surprise victory while condemning Mourinho to his second defeat in a row.

I finally lose hope in Mourinho. Can now see why Madrid parted with him. Abramovich must have been regreting letting Di Matteo go by now. Chelsea eggs smashed on rock! Fulham must have been counting 3 points in their favour even before they meet chelsea on week end lol!.

mourinho’s grudge towards spanish players will really cost CHELSEA this time we well knows that MATA belongs to the pitch and we are aware that our beloved playmaker[MATA] is being punished by mourinho because of HIS friendship with IKER CASILLAS AND who was the great enemy to mourinho during his time at madrid?[IKER]the same problem is to CEAZER AZIPILICUETA.PERSONALLY iam not happy with the way mourinho is handling our KEY players. i urge MR.ABRAMO PLIZ we will be happy and more happy if we hear that YOU HAVE GIVEN mourinho ULTIMATUM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE because we have already seen the signs of what will happen finally if he continues with this habit.thanks BLUES FOR LIFE
