Chelsea 1-0 Everton – Late, Late Terry Strike Keeps Blues On Top (Photos & Highlights)

By Alan Duffy

Chelsea 1-0 Everton – Premier League – 22nd February 2014

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Chelsea v Everton - Stamford Bridge

Chelsea captain John Terry was the Blues’ goal-hero in Saturday’s ealry game, netting in injury time to keep his side top of the table. An impressive Everton side deserved to get something out of the game, with Steven Naismith and Kevin Mirallas impressing up front for the visitors against a rather lacklustre Chelsea. However, just as the game looked to be heading towards a draw, Terry got the faintest of touches to a superb Frank Lampard free-kick to give his side a priceless win.
