Chelsea’s forgotten man Demba Ba came off the bench on Tuesday night to net the crucial goal which fired the Blues into the last four of the Champions League.

The superb Andre Schurrle, on as a first-half sub for the injured Eden Hazard, opened the scoring on the half-hour mark while after the break, the home side pushed for the vital second goal. Both Schurrle and Oscar hit the crossbar although Edinson Cavani really should have put the tie to bed when he blasted over from close-range after a superb pass from Yohan Cabaye. But then, at the death, late sub Ba got on the end of a deflected cross to send the Stamford Bridge faithful wild. Yet another successful night for Jose Mourinho, who is closing in on yet another Champions League triumph.

Well I’m sure that’ll keep Demba happy for a while, before going back to warming the bench.

The guy could have been an absolute Newcastle legend, but hey $$$ counts.

Newcastle legend indeed…in the bottom half of the table.

Mourinho does it again… Unbelievable I hope Chelski will get destroyed in the next round. Chelsea-R.Madrid would be a nice fixture especially when you think of the grudge some Madrid players have against Mourinho.

I’m really looking forward at tonight’s game Atleti-Barca.

Seen the table have you? Obviously not. Ask a football supporter where you can find it.
